June 8, 2010 - SID LA Chapter establishes a library of SID technical documents.

I have appointed Bob Schmahl as the librarian of the new library of SID technical documents. The library now contains 25 copies of the "Exhibit and Product Guide" from the SID International Symposium 2010, recently held in Seattle in late May.

Also are 6 copies of the CD containing all of the papers presented at the SID International Symposium 2010; eighty sessions in all, over 300 papers.
The Session titles are OLEDs, Touch technology, 3D , AMOLEDs, Flexible Displays, Blue Phase devices, Field Emission Displays, Green Display Technologies, Plasma TVs, Reflective Technologies, Digital Signage, Human factors of 3D displays, E-paper, and many more.

We also have one copy of the 2010 "Seminar Lectures Notes" containing the all the PowerPoint slides of the 15 seminars. Each seminar was 90 minutes long and contains 50 to 140 color slides.

All of these materials will be available at the June 24 SID LA Chapter meeting at the Holiday Inn, Buena Park. The lending period will be 4 weeks, available to SID Chapter members or Student Branch members only.
