Mr. Rogers is manager of the Electrical Engineering Department at Mitsubishi, responsible for DLP TV product development. He has been at Mitsubishi for 14 years.

The motif of the room is 1980 Brewery with all the appropriate copper pipes, etc. We have it on good authority that no brewing will be going on during the talk. If the Dow index for this day is over the index the day before, the management says that there will be a free appetizer with each drink as well as Happy Hour prices all night (subject to some rules). The first five student members are free with reservations and guests are welcome.

• January 7 thru 10, 2010 - Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas. Time is running out for FREE registration for the Exhibits. After October 31st, the charge is $100. On January 2nd, it's $200.
• January, 2010 - SID Chapter Social Meeting, . SID members will present slides of recent trips to exotic and beautiful places.
• February 5, 2010 - Our One-Day Symposium, "Technologies for Custom LCD Display Modules", sponsored by the SID LA Chapter at the Costa Mesa Country Club. Watch for more publicity in the near future.
• March 25, 2010 - SID Chapter Meeting, Subject is Display Highlights of CES.
• April 29, 2010 - SID Chapter Meeting, Subject is Reflective Liquid Crystal Displays. Several major companies will demonstrate products and give presentations.
