Prof. Andrea Ghez, Department of Physics and Astronomy / IGPP, UCLA, will lecture on TMT (30 meter telescope), Thursday, November 19, 2009. She will speak on the 30 meter telescope to be built at Mauna Kea, Hawaii. It can see 13 billion light years away.
